Bubbas of the Apocalypse has been released by Yard Dog Press. In the year 2025 the virus known as Yuppie-25 escapes the lab and decimates the world's population. Only one class of people were untouched. It was discovered they had high concentrations of an enzyme in their bloodstream that was traced back to a generic preservative used in bar-b-que sauce which mutated when grilled. People who had consumed large quantities of grilled meats over their lifetimes had a natural immunity to the virus. All others became zombies, from shambling carcasses always looking for the next meal to semi-intelligent "yumbies" who still go to office parties and enjoy human flesh with with brie. My story, "The Recipe", is unique to this series being the only seriously written tale of the lot. Don't let that fool you though, this book is all about gross southern gut-busting fun destined to be a cult classic.
